The Antarctic season runs from November to March: the beginning highlights ice and white landscapes, while the summer progresses with more light, penguin activity and opportunities to observe wildlife.

DAY 1

Ushuaia: arrival

Arrival in Ushuaia and first night in Argentina's southernmost city, with time to walk around the port and feel the expedition atmosphere.

DAY 2

Ushuaia and expedition preparation

Day in Ushuaia for briefing, equipment check and safety instructions before boarding.

DAY 3

Embarkation and start of the Drake

Embark and depart via the Beagle Channel, leaving Tierra del Fuego behind as the ship points towards the Drake Passage.

DAY 4

Drake Crossing

First full day at Drake, with lectures, seabird watching and adapting to the movement of the ocean.

DAY 5

Arrival at the Antarctic Peninsula

The first mountains, glaciers and icebergs announce the arrival of the Antarctic Peninsula and completely change the scale of the landscape.

DAY 6

Antarctic Peninsula: landings according to conditions

Zodiac landings as ice and wind permit, with penguin colonies, stony beaches and short walks on land.

DAY 7

Antarctic Peninsula: nature and ice

Navigation between canals and glaciers, looking for seals, penguins and large walls of ice around the Peninsula.

DAY 8

Antarctic Peninsula: navigation and fauna

Another day of exploration with zodiacs and landings chosen by the expedition team according to fauna, sea and local conditions.

DAY 9

Beginning of Drake's comeback

Beginning of the return via Drake, leaving the Antarctic Peninsula behind after the last sightings of ice and wildlife.

DAY 10

Drake Crossing

Second day of crossing, with time for final talks, bird watching and a retrospective of the expedition.

DAY 11

Arrival in Ushuaia

Arrival in Ushuaia via the Beagle Channel and disembarkation after crossing.

DAY 12

Ushuaia and closure

Last hours in Ushuaia and departure.
