Falklands/Malvinas — New Island

Exploration of New Island, with coastal landscapes and bird colonies in one of the most striking scenery of the archipelago.

Falklands / Malvinas — Stanley

Visit Stanley and contact with the history, local culture and landscape of the Falklands/Malvinas.

Sailing to South Georgia

Crossing the South Atlantic towards South Georgia, with activities and briefings from the expedition team.

DAY 6

South Georgia — Right Whale Bay / Salisbury Plain

First explorations in South Georgia, with climate-conditioned landings and focus on large concentrations of wildlife.

DAY 7

South Georgia — Grytviken / St. Andrews Bay

Visits to Grytviken and St. Andrews Bay, combining the history of polar exploration and one of the largest concentrations of king penguins on the planet.

South Georgia — Fortuna Bay / Hercules Bay

Exploration of Fortuna Bay and Hercules Bay, among mountains, fjords and colonies of subantarctic fauna.

South Georgia — Gold Harbour / Cooper Bay

Landings in Gold Harbour and Cooper Bay, with dramatic scenery and penguin and marine mammal spotting.

DAY 10

Sailing to Antarctica

Departure from South Georgia and beginning of the crossing towards the Antarctic Peninsula.

DAY 11

Crossing the Sea of Scotia

Day of navigation and preparation for arrival in the Antarctic environment, with lectures and observation of the sea.

Elephant Island

Arrival in the region of Elephant Island, linked to the history of Shackleton, with approaches and disembarkations according to conditions.

Antarctic Sound / Brown Bluff

Exploration of the Antarctic Sound and Brown Bluff, with tabular icebergs, volcanic landscapes and Antarctic fauna.

Deception Island / Telefon Bay

Visit to the volcanic island Deception Island and the Telefon Bay region, with landings defined by local conditions.

Cierva Cove

Navigation and exploration in Cierva Cove, among the ice, mountains and protected waters of the Antarctic Peninsula.

DAY 16

Drake Passage

Beginning of the return crossing through the Drake Passage, leaving the Antarctic Peninsula behind.

DAY 17

Drake Passage

Second day of crossing the Drake Passage, with bird watching and closing of expedition activities.

DAY 18

Cape Horn / Beagle Channel

Approach to South America, passing through the Cape Horn region and entering the Beagle Channel again.

DAY 19

Disembarkation in Ushuaia

Arrival in Ushuaia, disembarkation and end of the expedition.
